What’s in your Wallet? Plastic or Cash? Many women have no idea about their finances. They have no idea where their money goes and on what it has been spent on. It is time for women to become financially fit and concerned about their finances. It is not uncharacteristic for women not to get serious about their money until a serious event occurs in their lives – a loss of job, a sickness in the family, divorce, or the nearing of retirement.

People have told me that I “wear divorce well,” whatever the hell that means. I take that back. I know what they mean. I seemingly handled my divorce like a trouper, when in truth, going through it was the most emotionally exhausting time of my life.
