Top Ten Things Young Black Men Should Know

Some of my young brothers are graduating from high scool and now that you are 18 you are off to college, out in the world, off to Iraq, or out on the street.

Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way that will hopefully help you out in the future.

Everybody Can’t Wear Sandals

It may seem like common sense, but I have realized over the last few weeks, since the weather has been nice, that everybody doesn’t think like me. Future of Black TV is Online

It seems like not long ago, we were making great strides on television. Remember, The Cosby Show? I use to love the feeling of Thursday nights. It felt like that was OUR night to shine on TV. Back then, we had a couple of all-Black shows on a major network and then they (the networks) gave everybody a show. Those days were short lived, though.
