Everybody Can’t Wear Sandals

socksandsandals.jpgIf you are wearing sandals at any time, you need to have lotioned your feet. That includes the heals, between the toes and above the ankle. It may seem like common sense, but I have realized over the last few weeks, since the weather has been nice, that everybody doesn’t think like me. You know they say that everybody can’t wear everything. Well the same goes for shoes. Everybody can’t wear every shoe, especially sandals. There is no reason you should look like your wearing white footies all the time. Ladies, when you put on those cute new sandals or those tired ass flip-flops, make sure your feet are right. there is nothing worse than seeing an attractive woman who’s feet look like she used powder instead of lotion. Crusty feet are not cute in any culture or at anytime of the year. Don’t do it for me, do it for yourself. If you can’t take care of what I can see on you, there’s no telling how your taking care of what I can’t see. Nasty!

I am not just talking to women, but men as well. Sometimes I see brothers wearing sandals and their feet look like it’s against their religion to lotion or cut their toe nails. You don’t have to go get a pedicure (although, you may need it) to clean up your feet. I was never a fan of socks and sandals, but now I understand why and I apologize to all the old men I use to laugh at who represented like that. I appreciate you for respecting me and yourself enough to cover up them dawgs.

We should treat lotion like gum or breath mints. If you see someone who’s ashey, take out some lotion and rub your hands with it thoroghly and then reach your hand out with the bottle and ask,” Would you like some?” If they don’t get slapped, punched in the mouth or cursed out, ask them again. Don’t be afraid. It’s for the good of us all.
